Which One Sounds Best?
Listen to the dry Examples...
I tried to get similar results for each reverb - filters etc. by using Factory-Presets
With most Reverbs "Huge Hall (Cathedral)" is a Preset >>> ~ 7 ms Predelay, ER + ~7s Tail.
See the voting-results in the sidebar (given without knowing which one is which).
Reverb 1 = Reflect
Reverb 2 = ICRAM Verb
Reverb 3 = Roomworks
Reverb 4 = Breeze
Reverb 5 = TSAR-1
The results are showing as well that not each reverb come with good Factry Presets... ? So I tried to optimize the soundof each Reverb for getting similar results. Let's compare the reverbs once more with this dry example:
Now the Reverbs again with improved presets, each adjusted to sound best:
Reverb 1 - REFLECT
Reverb 2 - ICRAM Verb*
Reverb 3 - Roomworks
Reverb 4 - BREEZE
Reverb 5 - TSAR-1
Remarks:
- Tip: Listen and compare the ends of the music examples: The low Cello...?
- * I had the ICRAM only as a trial version with limited possibilities. So maybe it's not fair to compare it with the others.?
